The Farmtrac FT25G all-electric tractor impressed Robert Llewellyn and Adam Henson on BBC’s Countryfile and the world’s number one clean energy and electric vehicle channel FullyCharged this summer.

In both programmes, the tractor was reviewed, put through its paces around the farm and in Countryfile was compared against its diesel equivalent in a Top Gear style “battle of the tractors”.

To give you a taster of how it went down with both Robert and Adam, Robert said at one point: “What it has proven today beyond a shadow of a doubt, it’s not just me saying it, it’s Adam – proper farmer too – he drives tractors all the time and he absolutely loves this thing. It’s so much quieter than a diesel machine… It’ll give you six to seven hours of hard work. So I’ve been using this thresher that uses a lot of energy and it’s fine, it keeps going. And it doesn’t half do it well, it mashes through it.”
